Short Track Races!

We’ve added a series of short-track races to the AMBC Fall Festival!

The course has been laid out and contains singletrack, a fast bermy jumpy section, some grass, and a gravel section. Should be good for spectators and racers alike. If you’ve done a dirty south ride, you’ve probably ridden most of it. The course will be marked several days before the festival to give you guys a chance to preride.

Race breakdown

5:00 – Cat2(sport)/Beginner race 20-25 minutes
5:35 – Pro/Cat1(expert) 25-30 minutes
6:10 – SS/Women 20-25 minutes

The beginner and women’s races will start 1 minute behind Cat2 and SS. Pro and Cat1 will start and be scored together unless field size warrants separation.

Race cost

Nothing! (But feel free to make a donation to AMBC) We are asking for people to donate race plates from previous races so we don’t have to buy anything. Send me a message or an email if you’ve got some you’d like to pass along.
