Workday Schedule!

Here’s the AMBC trail work day schedule for Fall/Winter 2012/2013. Knoxville’s trails don’t happen without our local volunteers, and will only grow bigger and better with your help. All workdays start at 9 and end between noon-3pm, depending on number of volunteers and work to be completed.

Workday sponsorships are available. If you or your business is interested in sponsoring lunch for an AMBC workday, please contact Brian Hann at president@ambc-sorba.org. Thanks for your support!

Fall Work Day Schedule

Fall is almost here and along with the great riding weather comes our chance to get our hands dirty and expand our trail system in South Knoxville. We have ambitious goals this season but with our awesome volunteers, we will be knocking out miles of trail to enjoy come Spring!

Unless otherwise noted, we will meet at Meades Quarry at 9:00 am. Tools will be provided, just bring gloves and water. Look forward to seeing everyone out there!

TVB Beginner “Dirty South” Ride

Tennessee Valley Bikes will be leading weekly Wednesday rides, geared toward beginning mountain bikers and with a goal of introducing new riders to biking techniques and gear.

This ride meets at Meade’s Quarry and starts at 6:30 pm.

In case of bad weather, the ride will move across the street to the Greenway to ride toward Forks of the River WMA.
